I have a wealth of experience teaching older children and young people from a variety of backgrounds. I design all sessions to be interactive and take into account local policy, group size and different learning styles.

Older Children (Key Stage 2 Years 4-6):

Drug and Alcohol Education:

For example:

  • What is a drug?
  • Are all drugs bad?
  • All medicines are drugs but not all drugs are medicines.
  • Effects of tobacco and alcohol on body and society
  • Lifeskills including ways to say no.
Sex and Relationship Education:

For example:

  • What makes a good friend?
  • Ways to say no
  • Ways to protect yourself
  • Where to go for help
Lifeskills:

For example:

  • Ways to say no
  • Self esteem
  • Peer pressure

This will involve role play, personal and group activities.
